Terms and Conditions
Receipt of deposit and / or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts all our Terms and Conditions.
Reservations and Payments
Payments can be made via wire-transfers or PayPal
An advance deposit of 50% of the total per-person cost of the trip will be required in order to confirm your itinerary. Please note that dates and availability are subject to realization of advance deposit. To avoid the disappointment of not being able to secure the dates that you want, reservations must be made as early as possible.
The balance full payment for the trip is due 60 days before trip departure date.
PayPal Transactions: Please note that a 5% surcharge is applicable on all PayPal transactions. Currency conversion charges to INR (Indian Rupees) will be born by the client.
Travel Insurance
Because deposits and final payments for trip packages are non-refundable, it is highly recommended that you purchase trip insurance in the event that you have to cancel, postpone or reschedule your trip for any reason.
Refunds
Due to the nature of our business, the limited spots available, we do not give refunds of deposits or full trip fees. We suggest that you obtain trip insurance. The reason for our inability to refund deposits/payments is that we may have turned down clients while holding your deposit and space for you and it is next to impossible to fill a vacated space close to the departure dates of the tour.
However, if you wish to cancel the tour for any reason then a written notice of cancellation is mandatory prior to The Himalayan Outback putting the trip up for sale. If we rebook the trip, a 15% (of the total value of the trip) cancellation penalty will apply. All other deposits and payments will be returned to canceling party. If the trip does not sell prior to the balance due date (15 days prior to arrival) a 100% cancellation penalty will apply.
Delays
The Himalayan Outback cannot be help responsible for any delays caused by hazards beyond of our control. This includes airline, baggage delays, delays caused by landslides, rain or any other natural hazards.
