An advance deposit of 50% of the total per-person cost of the trip will be required in order to confirm your itinerary. Please note that dates and availability are subject to receipt of advance deposit. To avoid the disappointment of not being able to secure the dates that you want, reservations should be made as early as possible.
Full payment due 30 days before trip departure date.
PayPal Transactions: Please note that a 10% surcharge is applicable on all PayPal transactions.
Cancelations 6 months before your trip departure date. Your deposit may be carried forward to another trip, but no refunds will apply.
Cancelations less then 60 – 31 days before your trip departure date. A 50% cancelation fee will be applied.
Cancelations 30 days before the trip. A 100% cancelation will apply.
In the unlikely event of a trip being rescheduled or change of venue/location due to circumstances beyond our control. A 100% of your payment will be applied to the alternate trip, but no refunds will apply.
For this reason, we strongly suggest that you obtain trip insurance. Due to the nature of our business with limited spots available, we do not give refunds of deposits or full trip fees (see above for our policy). To serve your specific travel dates, needs and wishes, we may have turned down other potential clients. It may be difficult to fill a vacated space close to the departure dates of your tour.
The Himalayan Outback cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by hazards beyond of our control. This includes airline, baggage delays, delays caused by landslides, rain or any other natural hazards.
