There are several trails to walk on, many a pugmark and track to see, fluttering butterflies to admire as they flit from flower to flower; if you’re lucky you can even smell the fresh scent marking of a wild leopard or a bear!

A few walks are short and mostly flat, they are the ones that follow the river and traverse the sandy beaches or cut across picturesque villages, verdant fields and mango orchards. A wonderful mix of habitats to yield a great birding experience

A half day trip that involves a 45 min drive past Marchula, from where one can start walking and enjoy a bracing hike next to the rushing waters. This area has well documented forest as well as riverine bird life and is adjacent to the National Park. Besides the large variety of birds, frequent sightings of elephants have also been experienced on this trip.
