Overview:

The Himalayan Outback invites you to join our expedition to Spiti Valley trip in search of ‘the Gray Ghost’.
The Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh (India) is located in the trans Himalayan ranges, the outermost range of the Himalayas. Over the years the count of this elusive and beautiful cat now has been gradually increasing and, as a result, the number of sightings of the Snow Leopard have also increased.
Even though this trip is called the “Snow Leopard Expedition” there is a lot more that this beautiful land has to offer besides the Snow Leopard. The incredibly amazing landscape with its well preserved culture and diverse wildlife (including the Himalayan Blue Sheep, Ibex, Himalayan Wolf (Shankhu) and the Red Fox) will enhance your experience.
Spiti has been thrown open for winter tourism and this promises to be a wonderful opportunity for the adventurous traveler to get a sighting of the rare and beautiful wildlife of Spiti – the picturesque landscape will be an additional incentive to come to this wonderland.
